FAQ

I bought Pro. Will I lose it on a new phone?
No. Install TermNest with the same Google account and tap Settings → TermNest Pro → Restore purchase.

Is my server data sent anywhere?
No. TermNest has no server of its own; your server list, passwords and keys stay on your phone (encrypted with the Android Keystore). See the privacy policy.

My SSH session drops when I switch apps.
TermNest keeps connections alive with a "TermNest is keeping connections open" notification. On some phones (Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo) also set Settings → Apps → TermNest → Battery → Unrestricted.

Docker/DB says a command was not found.
Add-ons use tools already on your server (docker, psql, mysql). Install the tool or use an account allowed to run it.

Runbook fails with sudo.
Scripts run without anyone typing a password, so commands needing sudo must use sudo -n and the account must have passwordless sudo for them.
